About HistoryZen

What is HistoryZen, you ask? Well, HistoryZen is first and foremost a project started by myself in 2020 to just write and make videos about anything history-related that comes to mind. Due to life circumstances, this project got put on hold for several years soon after I started it and I’m now pulling it out of mothballs. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick up where I left off!

To introduce myself, my name is Josh Wolfenbarger. I’ve lived most of my (over) four decades on this earth in Kentucky, USA, but relocated to Missouri in 2022. I’m currently studying for my Computer and Networking Support degree at Crowder College ATTC in Joplin, MO. I’ve been a lifelong history buff and have had a keen interest in east Asian, Roman, Byzantine, Slavic, and pan-American histories for many years now. Now that I live in close proximity to Route 66, the history surrounding that road has also piqued my curiosity since moving to MO!

I especially love writing about some of the more obscure and local history topics and plan to post more of those here at HistoryZen. Oh, and more YouTube videos will be on the way as time permits.

Thanks for dropping by and don’t forget to subscribe to the HistoryZen YouTube channel!

–Josh

P.S.

If you’re interested in more history, feel free to check out the web articles I wrote way back in 2009-2013 at https://truefaith7.hubpages.com!
